Tribute Indoor Golf Simulator Par 3 Match Play Event
Saturday February 4th
Entry Fee:
$50 team must be paid at time of sign up.
First 8 paid teams get into the event.A wait list will be created after the 8 spots are filled.If teams have a request to be placed in a POD with another paid team, please make that request when you sign up.
Format:
The eight 2 person teams will be divided into two 4 team PODS. There will be round robin play within the POD to determine the POD winner. POD Winners will play in the event championship match.
Each match will consist of six holes of scramble par 3 match play. Each hole won = 1 pt Each hole tied = 1/2 point.. The winning team in the match gets an additional point. If the match ends in a tie, each team receives an additional 1/2 point.
After completion of the three POD matches, the team with the most total points will be the POD champion. In the event of a ties for first place in the POD, the tie breaks will be 1) best head to head points earned. If still tied, the teams total strokes for the 3 POD matches will serve as the tie breaker. If the result is still tied, the two teams will have a team chip-off with the lowest combined distance from the pin of the two team members being the tie breaker.
The simulator will be set to manual putting with a ONE FOOT GIMME range. Teams must putt until the team ball is holed or one of the players is within one foot of the hole.
Match Tee Times:
The following is the schedule of play for the event. Team numbers will be drawn at random once the 8 teams are finalized. The participants will be made aware of the schedule of play no later than Friday February 3rd.
Matches should take no more than 30 minutes each. Players will be asked to stay within the 30 minute allotted time.

If this event is well received, we will consider adding additional categories for future events.
We will be playing the same 6 par three holes for each match but we will play them from different yardages in each of the three POD matches.
Match # 1
Yardages will be 165 yards, 182 yards, 170 yards, 196 yards, 147 yards and 177 yards
Match # 2
Yardages will be 133 yards, 171 yards, 145 yards, 163 yards, 134 yards and 152 yards
Match # 3
Yardages will be 116 yards, 146 yards, 128 yards, 148 yards, 116 yards and 128 yards
The Championship Match will be played from the Match #1 yardages
POD Winners receives $50 cash and $50 gift card
POD Runners Up receive $25cash and $25 gift card
Overall Champion Team Receives $50 cash and $50 gift card
There will be an optional $10 per player winner takes all closest to the pin competition. The closest tee shot to the pin from all POD matches will get the cash pot from the closest to the pin entries.
